It emerged yesterday morning that Tottenham were holding talks with Blackburn over the potential transfer of David Bentley; now The Daily Mail claims that two clubs have reached a deal.
David Bentley is in the last year of his Blackburn contract and has announced that he expects to leave the club this summer. However, Blackburn were believed to be holding out for a £17 million offer before letting the England winger go.
According to The Daily Mail, they have now backed down on their asking price and have agreed to let Bentley go to Tottenham for £15 million.
The player will reportedly undergo a medical at Tottenham this week before agreeing personal terms.
