Tottenham eye King move

Tottenham Hotspur are considering a summer move for Bournemouth striker Joshua King, according to the Mail Online.

The Norway international has been in fine form this calendar year, with only Spurs’ hit man Harry Kane and Golden Boot front-runner Romelu Lukaku of Everton bettering his tally of twelve in the Premier League so far.

The former Manchester United man is contracted to the Cherries until 2020, so it could take a fee of at least £15m to secure his services.

Since arriving at the south coast club in the summer of 2015, King has racked up sixty-nine appearances in all competitions, scoring twenty-two goals – the last of which coming as the winning goal on Saturday afternoon as Eddie Howe’s men condemned Sunderland to relegation.

That result also all but confirmed Bournemouth’s Premier League safety with three games left to play, the first of which Saturday’s visit of Stoke City.
