Tottenham Hotspur and Southampton 23/10 to draw in this afternoon’s Premier League clash

Competition: Premier League
Market: Tottenham and Southampton to draw
Odds: 23/10 @ William Hill

Tottenham Hotspur and Southampton meet at White Hart Lane in the Premier League this afternoon, in a game that could end up a stalemate given Spurs’ recent woes and the Saints’ upturn in form.

Tottenham would normally be favourites, but Ronald Koeman’s men could bridge the gap in their bid for European participation.

Spurs are second in the Premier League with 70 points from 36 games, and have failed to win three of their last five games ahead of their meeting with the Saints.

Tottenham lost out on the title recently following dropped points to West Bromwich Albion and Chelsea, and with the Londoners missing some key players through suspension Southampton stand a chance of capitalising.

As for Southampton, the visitors have a lot to play for as they still have slim hopes of sealing a European place. Ronald Koeman’s men are seventh with 57 points from 36 games, and boast three wins and one draw from their last four games.

On the road, the Saints have won three from six, but the two sides might have mutual respect which could lead to a stalemate. William Hill are giving odds of 23/10 for the two sides to draw as a result.
