Lyon have rejected speculation that Lyon have submitted a bid for midfielder Franck Tabanou.

Tabanou, who joined Toulouse as a teenager in 2006, has become one of the the Stade Municipal outfit’s most consistent performers in recent times.

Alain Casanova’s men struggled in Ligue 1 last season after previously making a good start to the campaign, eventually finishing a disappointing 10th.
Toulouse lost Moussa Sissoko to Newcastle United in the January transfer window and have faced speculation about a number of their other stars, including France international Etienne Capoue.
However, the club have moved to reject rumours of Lyon’s interest in former France Under-21 international.
A statement on the club’s official website read: “Following the information published in recent days in some sports media, the Toulouse Football Club formally denies having received a transfer offer for the Olympique Lyonnais player Franck Tabanou.”
The club have also confirmed the signing of Romanian winger Mihai Roman on a free transfer.
Roman joins on a three-year contract after spending the last three seasons with Rapid Bucharest.
