Toulouse star Andre-Pierre Gignac has admitted that he would be interested in a move to Premier League side Aston Villa.
The 24-year-old has scored 22 goals in 36 games for Toulouse in Ligue 1 this season and has been closely watched by Villa boss Martin O’Neill.
“I like Toulouse, we had a good season, I like it here, we have a good spirit. I want to continue here, but in football you never know,” Gignac told Sky Sports.
“Next season there is the World Cup. I want to be part of the squad so it is a very important time in my career.
“Aston Villa? They are a very good team in the best league in the world alongside the Spanish league.”
