Toure linked with move to Premier League rivals

Yaya Toure could be set for a shock transfer from Manchester City to another of the Premier League’s big hitters, according to the Daily Star.

Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool have also been linked with a move for the 31 year old, who may be allowed to leave for around £20m as the Premier League champions look to bring in a younger option.

Since arriving in England in the summer of 2010, Ivory Coast international Toure has racked up two hundred and twelve appearances for City in all competitions, scoring sixty-one goals.

He was part of the squads that won the FA Cup in 2011, the Premier League title in both 2012 and 2014 and the League Cup final in 2014 while internationally he guided his side to victory in the Africa Cup on Nations earlier this year, winning his ninety-sixth cap in the final against Ghana, where The Elephants won on penalties.
