Turkish club Trabzonspor are interested in signing Thailand international Teerasil Dangda from Muang Thong United.

Speaking exclusively to Goal.com Thailand, Muang Thong manager Ronnarit Suewaja confirmed the Thai Premier League outfit have been contacted by several agents who are keen on Dangda.

“It is true that we have received some inquiries for Dangda, but only from agents not from the clubs. However, if there is any realistic offer available, we are ready to talk,” Suewaja said.

“Not only Trabzonspor, but we also received interest from Japan, South Korea, and England but I can’t reveal more at this stage. We will choose the best offer for the player.”

Suewaja said he was excited about the interest from European clubs in Thai players.

“This will be a very good moment for Thai football. It shows that Thai players have the quality to play on the bigger stage,” he said.

Dangda has played for the Thailand national team since 2007, scoring 20 goals from 37 appearances.
