Pep Guardiola’s appointment at Bayern Munich has sparked rumours linking a whole raft of the world’s best players with a move to Bavaria.

Liverpool’s Luis Suarez is apparently the target of a 40 million-pound bid from Bayern, while the likes of Isco, Neymar, Edin Dzeko and Edinson Cavani have also been linked with the Bundesliga leaders.

Rennes have announced Yann M’Vila is leaving them for Russian Premier League club Rubin Kazan, although the Tatarstan-based side are seemingly under a transfer embargo in the January window having failed to pay wages due to former player Roman Adamov.

Malaga have loaned Uruguayan central defender Diego Lugano from Paris Saint-Germain until the end of the season.

Elsewhere, it has been reported Arsenal are still keen on signing Barcelona forward David Villa, Inter are considering a 15 million euro bid for Corinthians midfielder Paulinho and ex-Chelsea striker Didier Drogba could leave Shanghai Shenhua, with AC Milan and Juventus vying for his signature.
