Tunisia are facing a must-win final group match at the Africa Cup of Nations to qualify for the quarter-finals.

The north African nation are equal on points with upcoming opponents Togo, but due to an inferior goal difference, only victory will see them through.

Tunisia boss Sami Trabelsi said the side is aware of their situation and prepared for what lies ahead.

“Despite all the rumours, the Tunisian team is really focused,” Trabelsi said.

“We are working well, there is a good chemistry between the players, everybody is healthy except Youssef Msakni who has got a pretty strong flu, but he will train again with the group today. Otherwise everybody is fine.”

The 2004 champions have scored just once in the tournament so far and will need to find a renewed attacking spark against Togo to make it through from Group D.

Trabelsi said he did not think that goals would come via wholesale changes to his squad, however.

“I think, we can’t do a full turnover,” he said.

“We have 23 players, and the 23 can’t play. We always keep the backbone of the team but we may change one or two players depending on how the game goes but otherwise we don’t change the team.”
