Turkish giants vying for Patrice Evra

Radio Monte Carlo is reporting that two top Turkish sides are weighing up winter bids for free agent Patrice Evra.

The Frenchman has been without a club since his contract with Marseille was terminated, but latest reports suggest he will soon find new employers.

Super Lig giants Galatasaray are reportedly keen on Evra and his former teammate Bafetimbi Gomis has tried to persuade the 36-year-old to join.

However, the veteran full-back has also been in contact with Besiktas and clubs from the Middle East, as he is currently evaluating offers.

Patrice Evra spent the majority of his professional career at Manchester United, but also represented Marsala, Monza, Nice, Monaco, Juventus and Marseille.
