Ukraine, Argentina, Spain and Iran have secured their spots in the second round of the 2008 Futsal World Cup, currently being held in Brazil.
Ukraine beat China 4-2, enough to finish in first place in Group C with ten points from four games.
The Argentinians risked losing their second place to Guatemala, but beat their rivals 2-1 in their final group game. Argentina have ten points as well, but Ukraine have a better goal record.
Spain were never really troubled by Uruguay in Group D, and won their last group game 3-0. More exciting was the match between Iran and the Czech Republic, where the Asians took a 3-2 victory to finish the first round in second place.
The second round consists of two groups of four teams, and kicks off on Saturday. Brazil, Iran, Ukraine and Italy face in the first group, dubbed Group E, while Paraguay, Argentina, Spain and Russia compete in Group F. The winners and runners-up advance to the semi finals.
