For Bradford boss Simon Grayson, the former Leeds boss knows that his side must drastically turn their recent form around if they want to mount a late charge for the League One playoff positions. On Monday night, Bradford will travel to Doncaster.

For the hosts on Monday night, Doncaster have endured a respectable start to life in England’s third tier. After being promoted from League Two last year, Darren Ferguson now sees his side sat in 16th position and with a nine-point buffer over the drop zone. Appearing to extend their stay in League One for another season, Doncaster still have hopes of securing a top half finish come the end of the season, a win for Ferguson’s side on Monday could see them go as high as 13th. However, if the Donny want to mount a late push they will have to improve on their recent form, they now have just one league win in their last 12 attempts.

As for last years League One playoff finalists, Bradford have not been able to recapture last seasons form and despite an impressive start to the campaign, Simon Grayson’s side now sit in 10th in the table, Bradford now find themselves as outsiders in the hunt for a playoff spot. The Bantams are now six points adrift of the top six and their recent poor form has shown no signs of improving. Grayson’s side are now without a league win in their last 10 appearances, that current run stems all the way back to New Year’s Day.
