The Sun is at it again. Today they have revealed that Arsenal and Manchester United target, Joao Moutinho is being looked at by David Moyes of Everton. Normally, Moyes would have no chance of landing the Portuguese international with both English giants interested, but The Sun revealed that neither club has actually made an offer.
Moutinho would cost around £16 million should anybody enquire, and it is thought that Everton have made that kind of money available to David Moyes. The Scottish manager, who lead his team to a fifth place finish last season looks to bring in the players to improve on that, and he believes that Moutinho fits the bill.
However, he will not be able to do anything until Portugal is eliminated from Euro 2008 as the player is currently on international duty. The Sun thinks that Liverpool might also develop an interest in the future, but is Everton move fast enough, they should have no problem in signing the player.
