United closing in on Ronaldo return

Manchester United are in advanced talks with Real Madrid regarding a potential deal that could see Cristiano Ronaldo return to Old Trafford, the Daily Star understands.

The two clubs have spent the best part of the last two weeks negotiation a package worth £80m, with the Premier League champions confident of getting the deal over the line.

David Moyes increased his efforts to bring the Portuguese international back to Manchester amid Real’s determination to take Tottenham Hotspur’s Gareth Bale to the Bernabeu.

The new United manager has so far failed to bring in any of his big name transfer targets, and is keen to secure a marquee signing before the transfer window closes.

Ronaldo has made no secret of his wish to one day return to the club where he won three Premier League titles, the FA Cup, two league cups, the Champions League and the FIFA World Club Cup.

Manchester United should just stop wasting their precious time on Ronaldo.I think he’s satisfied with the way things are going in Spain compared to England. All he want now is just for Madrid to make him the Highest Paid Player in the football world with 330 per week. And i think Real Madrid president are really working towards that.So United should go elsewhere like Benfica for another Ronaldo.Hala Madrid.Up Madrid

united should focus on other talent get rid of any baggage like ferdinand, and get any talented midfielder out there any player would jump at a chance to play for united i think moyes is looking in the wrong places.focusing to much on what the media wants and not whats best for thw club either spend some big money or keep letting talented players like thiago slip away.its not right!!!! from a die hard loving fan of united.

yeah Gareth Ferdinand is good and they should make Rooney stay and buy Ronaldo then they would have Ronaldo, Rooney and Van Persie in a formation 4-3-3
