United duo extend loan spells

Manchester United’s Michael Keane and Ryan Tunnicliffe have extended their loan deals with Derby County and Ipswich Town respectively, according to the Daily Star.

Keane will stay with Steve McClaren’s Rams side for until at least the end of the month, while Tunnicliffe looks set to remain in Suffolk for the rest of the campaign after making 23 appearances under Mick McCarthy.

However, a host of other United players have returned to Manchester after completing their various deals across England and beyond.

Jesse Lingard (Birmingham City), Will Keane (Wigan Athletic), Davide Petrucci (Royal Antwerp), Federico Macheda (Doncaster Rovers), Tyler Blackett (Blackpool) and Ben Amos (Carlisle United) are all back at Old Trafford following their respective spells away.

Birmingham boss Lee Clark has spoken of his desire to take Lingard back to St Andrews for the remainder of the campaign, and is likely to make the request in the coming days.
