Veteran Manchester United and England right-back Gary Neville has signed a new contract to keep him at Old Trafford until the end of next season.
Neville told his club’s official website: “Manchester United is the only club I have ever wanted to play for, so I am delighted to have signed for another year.”
United boss Sir Alex Ferguson added his own praise on Neville: “Gary is a true professional and I admire how he has overcome an injury which kept him out for over a year, returning as good as ever”.
