Manchester United’s pursuit of Dimitar Berbatov might indicate that Louis Saha’s days at Old Trafford are being numbered. The French striker has not had the happiest time in Manchester and Sir Alex Ferguson is thought to be looking to offload the player.
According to News of the World, Fulham have been alerted by this piece of news and are interested in signing Saha. The same report states that Sunderland and Wigan have made enquiries about the player, while Bolton and AS Roma are monitoring the situation.
Saha has not left Craven Cottage on the happiest on notes after he pushed the club to accept Manchester United’s bid, but Fulham manager Roy Hodgson is willing to overlook that aspect as he wants to build a team which would be comfortable in their Premier League.
