Valencia hope to sign Munir on permanent basis

La Liga giants Valencia are set to open talks with Barcelona over forward Munir El Haddadi, Sport can reveal.

The talented footballer joined los Che on loan with an option to buy for €12 million last summer, and he did well to score 6 goals in 18 La Liga starts.

Valencia sporting department is satisfied with Munir’s contribution this season and they want to sign him on permanent basis, although they will attempt to lower the asking price.

Back when the loan deal was negotiated, los Che wanted the purchase option to be lowered to €8 million and that is the price they are now willing to pay for the 21-year-old.

Valencia also need to persuade Munir to accept their offer, although that should not be a problem considering that the forward is happy to be playing on regular basis.

The product of the famous La Masia youth academy had scored 4 goals in 26 La Liga appearances for Barcelona.
