Valencia in for Hernandez

The Express understands that Valencia are ready to make a £40m move for former Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez.

The twenty-eight year old moved to Bayer Leverkusen in the summer of 2015 having spent the 2014/15 campaign on loan with Real Madrid, and is on the radar of a number of clubs after netting thirty-three times in forty-eight appearances for the Bundesliga outfit.

During his time at Old Trafford, the Mexico international scored fifty-nine times in one hundred and fifty-seven games in all competitions and was part of the squad that won the Premier League title in both 2011 and 2013.

The former Guadalajara forward has been capped eighty-six times for his country, scoring forty-five times and featured for them in both the 2010 World Cup finals in South Africa and the 2014 tournament in Brazil as well as winning the CONCACAF Cup with them in the USA last year.
