Valencia are weighing up a summer move for Spartak Moscow defender Nicolas Pareja, according to Izvestia.
Los Che are very short of options in the heart of defence, and with star defender Adil Rami followed by some of Europe’s top clubs, they may have to sign two centre-backs in the summer transfer window.
Russian newspaper Izvestia has learned that Spartak Moscow stopper Nico Pareja is high on Valencia’s hit-list.
Los Che have been closely monitoring the player this season and they are convinced he would be an instant hit at Mestalla.
The problem is that Spartak are not too keen on selling one of their key players, although it is believed the Russian would be unable to reject a big money offer.
Nicolas Pareja, 29, joined Spartak from Espanyol in the summer of 2010 and has since made 47 Russian Premier League appearances for the club and scored 3 goals in the process.
