Valencia reignite interest in Gameiro

Valencia are ready to rekindle their interest in Paris Saint-Germain attacker Kevin Gameiro, Le Parisien understands.

Los Che were on the verge of signing the diminutive forward in January 2011, but the transfer fell through and he joined the Saints in July 2011 for a fee of €11 million.

The 25-year-old hasn’t had such an impressive start to his career at Parc des Princes, and it appears that he will be allowed to leave following the arrival of Ezequiel Lavezzi from Napoli.

La Parisien claims that Valencia are ready to return for the promising forward, with los Che looking for a new striker now that Aritz Aduriz is set to join Athletic Bilbao.

With PSG coach Carlo Ancelotti looking to make way for new signings, Gameiro could be available at a cut-back price in the summer transfer window.

The highly rated striker has scored 11 goals in 34 Ligue 1 games for Paris Saint-Germain last season.
