Valencia have turned down a 47 million euros bid from Real Madrid for striker David Villa, according to Marca.
Spanish media reported on Monday that Real had made a big bid for the Euro 2008 star, but Spanish sports daily Marca says Valencia president Vicente Soriano refused the bid straight away.
Soriano have made it clear that he is not interested in selling neither of his two big stars, David Villa and David Silva.
Marca claims that several directors at Valencia were interested in selling their star striker to Real Madrid.
Real Madrid are keen on signing the Valencia striker as a replacement for Brazilian striker Robinho, who want a move to Premiership giants Chelsea.
Real could make a move for Ajax striker Klas-Jan Huntelaar should they fail to sign Villa, according to reports in the Spanish media.

i think liverpool needs 2 wonderful strikers who can replace torres when he gets injured,two wonderful midfielders then sell of lucas and a good keeper not that shameless reina who cannot catch drogba’s tap and alex freekick in the champions league battle.benitez should do something before its late.there are many strikers in the world.if the well known strikers like villa etc proves stubborn,he should travell out to south american clubs,russian clubs,portuguse just to mention a few,he will see strikes willing to come to liverpool even if is 1 million pound because liverpool is the best football club in the whole universe.the play with determination,zeal etc.infact, kudos to steven gerrad.dirk kuyt,xabi alonso who invented the triangular pass.the pass makes me go crazy.
