Manchester City manager Mark Hughes claims Valencia want £90million for Spain star David Villa.
City have been linked with a move for the Valencia striker, who was top scorer at Euro 2008.
The 27-year-old has impressed by scoring 74 goals in 120 La Liga games for the Spanish side.
“It is difficult to overcome the idea that there is one price for us and another for the rest but we have dropped deals before and we will again,†Hughes told the Daily Mail.
“We will not pay ridiculous money. If a club wants us at the table it has to talk sensibly.
“Valencia wanted £90 million for David Villa and the fact is he isn’t worth £90 million, so no deal.â€Â
