Superdeporte has learned that Valencia and Wolfsburg are locked in the battle for Monaco forward Anthony Martial.
It is no secret los Che plan to sign another striker before the transfer window closes, but they have so far failed in their quest to recruit one of Fernando Llorente, Alvaro Negredo and Jackson Martinez.
According to Superdeporte, Monaco starlet Anthony Martial has been on their radar for quite some time and Valencia officials could decide to step up their interest in the coming days.
They will have to act quickly as Bundesliga side Wolfsburg have reportedly offered €15 million for the youngster’s services as they, too, are in need of attacking reinforcements.
Anthony Martial, 18, joined Monaco from Lyon last summer and went on to make 11 Ligue 1 appearances, scoring 2 goals in the process.
The Principality club face Nantes away later today and they are available at 11/10 to claim maximum points.
