(GSM) – Louis van Gaal has not ruled out a return to international football in the future. The Bayern München coach also revealed that he would be open for a job as Germany coach in the future.
“Let’s wait and see. I might be a real German in two years from now,” Van Gaal told the Frankfurter Allgemeinen Sonntagszeitung.
“I think Bayern could be my final club. I would like to play a part in the World Cup, or similarly at a UEFA Euro tournament.
“I am looking forward to experiencing these tournaments.”
Last week, Van Gaal turned down the chance to manage Nigeria and coach them at the World Cup.
“It was not the first time I have received an offer from Nigeria, but I think that Bayern is a big challenge for me,” the former Holland national coach explained.
Van Gaal’s contract at Bayern expires in June 2011.
