Video: Bayer Leverkusen head coach fined for embarrassing touchline dive vs Monchengladbach

Back in December we witnessed one of the most pathetic dives we’ve seen in a while.

To make things even worse it came from a manager instead from usual culprits – players.

A DfB Pokal match between Borussia Monchengladbach and Bayer Leverkusen saw guest head coach Heiko Herrlick pull of a remarkably embarrassing touchline dive when Denis Zakaria was trying to pick up a lose ball for a throw in.

Herrlich did apologise for his ‘stupid’ behavior right after the game but was nevertheless slapped with a hefty €12,000 fine just for good measure.
