Sir,You’ve left out 1 very important name - Petr Cech.

I agree to the fact the he’s still quite young and has not had too much experience,But he is very damn good. He’s younger than many people today and is the best keeper in the world today. He’s Chelsea’s backbone and he’s the reason they’ve not lost a match at home for years now.

I dont no why a player like RONALDINHO is not included either ten best winger nor mid filder.i think he deserve it

  6. Chukwuma on November 14th, 2008 1:05

You have left one clamour striker out of the best ten, who is no other player than Thiery Henry.Who had made a memorable remark at Arsenalfc

I am not a United supporter, but I have always loved Peter Schmeichel. He has taken the position to a new level and dramatically altered the style of those who came after him. I hope Kasper can do as well, but I wouldn’t want to live with that pressure.

Cech? Van Der Sar? Really? There are a host of other great keepers who were left off this list, and I see no reason why either of these two belongs in the top ten. They are both very good goalies, don’t get me wrong, but neither has had the sustained success necessary to be on this list.

For me the biggest name left off is Chilavert, the amazing Paraguayan. Watch his highlight reel on youtube if you don’t believe me.

Got something to say?
