VIDEO: Goalkeepers in Egypt are apparently allowed to make saves outside their area

Incredible scenes are coming from Egypt.

In a remarkable run of play which saw one team break into a fast-paced counterattack a defending goalkeeper ran out of his area to deny his opponent with a remarkable save.

Note that his save was made meters outside the box and that no player is complaining about his move, whereas the referee clearly sees no wrongdoing here.
