Weekend’s match between Hajduk Split and Istra 1961 in the top flight of Croatian football brought an unusual, movie-like closure for the home side at Poljud stadium.
Hajduk Split goalkeeper Karlo Letica – who’s a target for Real Madrid apparently – emerged as the unlikely hero for his side as he went on to score a last second winner in a 3-2 triumph, sending the entire stadium into a pandemonium – including his own teammates.
It does not happen to often that a goalie scores a goal, let alone a flying header such as this one you can see below.
