Arsenal and Barcelona target Nabil Fekir was banned for Lyon’s Ligue 1 match against Montpellier on Sunday due to his third yellow card of the season.

The Lyon star was booked for takin off his shirt to celebrate a goal against St Etienne which subsequently sparked a pitch invasion.

The 24-year-old caused rage with St Etienne fans but bought his way into Lyon fans’ hearts with this gesture. In order to repay him, the Lyon supporters choreographed a similar gesture by holding up their own shirts after 18 minutes of the game – to represent Fekir’s squad number.

Have a look.
