Villa set to terminate Ilori deal

Aston Villa are set to terminate Tiago Ilori’s loan deal with the club and send him back to Liverpool, according to the Telegraph.

The twenty-two-year-old moved to Villa Park on a temporary basis in the summer, though he has failed to make a single appearance for the Midlands club who are rooted to the foot of the Premier League.

He is also yet to feature for his parent club, having signed from Portuguese side Sporting two-and-a-half years ago though since then he has had loan spells with Granada and Bordeaux.

Villa have shipped thirty-four goals in just nineteen league games so far this season though their focus this month is on bringing in more attacking players.

They take their search for a first league win since the opening day of the season to fellow strugglers Sunderland on Saturday afternoon, with the visitors priced at 11/5 to take all three points.
