Juventus striker Mirko Vucinic has called on his team-mates to concentrate going into their crucial clashes with Lazio and Chelsea this week.
The reigning Serie A champions have some tough games ahead of them domestically as well as in the Champions League, and Lazio will be looking to take advantage of Juve’s tiring schedule.
The Montenegro international is aware of the pressure his team are under and insisted they must face the challenge head-on.
“We cannot drop our guard this week,” the former Roma striker told Juventus’ official website.
“These are three games which could determine the destiny of our season, between the Scudetto and the Champions League. We cannot afford to put a foot wrong, especially against Chelsea.”
Ghanaian midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah agrees with his team-mate that Juve have to keep working hard in order to meet their goal this term.
“We’ve started the season well and taken a lot of points, but there are still plenty of games to play and we need to hang in there,” he told reporters.
Juventus sit top of Serie A, four points clear of second-placed Inter Milan.
