Walcott denies Wenger rift

Theo Walcott has rubbished reports of a bust-up with manager Arsene Wenger but has said that he is yet to agree a new deal with the club, according to the Express.

The forward has been linked with a move to Liverpool in recent months, though he has stated that he is committed to the Gunners, though a fresh contract is yet to be agreed.

Walcott moved to Arsenal from Southampton half way through the 2005/06 campaign, and has since racked up almost three hundred appearances for the club in all competitions, scoring seventy-two goals.

Internationally, he has been capped thirty-six times for England and is currently with Roy Hodgson’s squad for the forthcoming games against Lithuania and Italy.

However, he has started just three times in the Premier League so far this season, though he scored in two of those games – last months wins over Aston Villa and Leicester City.
