Competition: Euro 2016
Market: Wales to win against Portugal
Odds: 2/1 @ Bet 365

Wales lock horns with Portugal at the Stade des Lumières in tonight’s Euro 2016 semi-final clash, and are underdogs to progress to the final despite their opponents having failed to win a game in normal time.

Portugal’s journey to the final four saw them finishing third in Group F with three points from a possible nine. They drew every game in the group stages, and little changed in the knockouts. Portugal beat Croatia in the last-16 thanks to an extra time winner before seeing past Poland on penalties in the quarter-finals.

As for Wales, the Dragons topped Group B with six points, having beaten Slovakia and Russia. In the last-16, Chris Coleman’s side saw past rivals Northern Ireland and they impressively beat the much-fancied Belgium in the quarter-finals. They will be missing two players from tonight’s game but won’t be short of confidence.

Portugal are favourites to progress given their overall squad depth, but Wales beat Belgium to make it this far, and won’t be overawed by the occasion at the Stade des Lumières. As a result, Bet 365 are giving odds of 2/1 for Wales to see past Portugal in normal time this evening.
