Wales and Uruguay lock horns in the final game of the 2018 China Cup and both teams are coming on the back of convincing wins.

For the Red Dragons, the Weslh are now under the guidance of former Manchester United star Ryan Giggs and they will hope that their former captain can carry on his impressive start in the Wales dugout. While the Welsh may have failed to qualify for their years World Cup after being beaten by Ireland in the final game of the group stages, the Welsh were unable to extend their fine run of form at the 2016 Euro’s that saw them reach the semi-final. However, coming off the back of a 6-0 hammering of hosts China on Friday night, Real Madrid forward Gareth Bale scored a hat-trick and has now become Wales all-time leading goal-scorer.

As for Óscar Tabárez and his Uruguay side, led by Barcelona striker Luis Suarez, the Sky Blues’ secured a second place finish the South American qualifying group and booked their spot in a relatively easy World Cup group. Placed with hosts Russia, Saudi Arabia and Egypt, Uruguay are already tipped as the Group A favorites. With Edison Cavani finish fourth in the qualifiers goalscoring charts, Tabarez’s side are most recently coming off the back of a 2-0 win against the Czech Republic in the semi-finals.
