Barcelona superstar Leo Messi scored nine goals in four matches for his side prior the trip to Girona.
The Catalans did emerge victorious celebrating a 3-0 win over La Liga minnows, but what caught the media attention was the fact Leo Messi was contained for the full 90 minutes.
Credit goes to Girona man Pablo Maffeo who was Leo Messi’s shadow for the night.
The 20-year-old Manchester City starlet playing on loan at the newly-promoted side revealed an interesting chat between him and Leo Messi after the match.
“He (Messi) asked me a couple of things, like if I was loaned by City and how old I was. It was all good.”, said Maffeo after the match.
