Cagliari ace Andrea Cossu was disappointed after the clash with AC Milan last night, as he felt they should have beaten the Rossoneri.

Cagliari have had a very poor start to the season, but managed to pick up their first point of the season against AC Milan.

“We should have taken more than a point,” Cossu insisted.

“We showed that we are still a team and there are no problems. We did well to create lots of chances but couldn’t finish them.

“I think we are probably at a turning point. Points bring confidence and to get a result against a side who are much higher gives an indescribable energy.

“The main thing is that now we can be more relaxed when we approach future games.”
