Wenger eyeing Ramos move

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is confident of landing a deal to sign Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos, according to the Express.

The Spain international has made three hundred league appearances for the current European Champions, while he has racked up a further one hundred and twenty-five games in other competitions.

He also has an impressive goal scoring record for a player of his position, having passed the fifty goal mark for Real this season.

He also has double figures in terms of goals for his country, netting ten in one hundred and twenty-five caps for Spain while he was part of the squads that won the European Championships in 2008 and 2012, and the World Cup in 2010.

Chelsea and Manchester City are also eyeing the former Sevilla man’s situation, though it is the Gunners who are in pole position with Wenger having already made contact with the 28 year old’s agent.
