Werder Bremen’s Portugal international striker Hugo Almeida has admitted that he would relish the chance to try his luck in England. The 24-year-old has been strongly linked with a loan move to Everton in recent weeks and the former FC Porto frontman is flattered by such rumours.
He admitted: “It would be a dream for me to play in England. I am open to offers and am happy that Everton are interested in my services. I have spoken on the telephone with Nuno Valente to find out things about the club and the impression is very positive”.
