We’re ready to beat Chelsea – City’s Touré

(GSM) – Manchester City defender Kolo Touré says they are ready to take on league leaders Chelsea this weekend.

City managed to beat the Blues twice last season and Touré believes they can dent Chelsea’s perfect league record.

“We were delighted to beat them twice last season and we hope to do it again,” said the Ivory Coast international. “It’s going to be a really exciting game.

“We need to make sure we take something from it. If we can get one point that would be great, but if we can get all three like we did twice last season, that would be fantastic.

“The manager wants us to work really hard on defending every day in training because when you defend well, it gives you the chance to win games.

“We don’t concede many goals because we are really tight as a unit and work really hard for each other. We hope we can keep going like this.

“What we will have to do is defend as a team, like we have been doing, and stay really focused. Then, when we can, we’ll have to be really aggressive with them.”
