It was announced late yesterday (Monday) by Sir Alex Ferguson that Wes Brown, Manchester UnitedÂ’s central defender, would be flying home as early as Wednesday from his South African tour following the death in hospital of his half sister Claire Fallows.
Claire had died earlier in the day. She had been pregnant for three months at the time and it is believed that she had a history of heart problems. She was thirty six years old.
This was a double blow for the twenty eight year old defender who had recently lost his father in February.
It is not certain as to whether Brown will play in tonightÂ’s Vodacom Challenger match at the ABSA Stadium in Durban against Orlando Pirates.

Thoughts And Feelings.
Manda,
“There’s no words just thoughts and feelings”
An Empty hollow feeling that I can’t express, out loud, wanting them to stay mild, gentle, clam, although hurting with sadness, not wanting to choke with tears.
I’m going to start thinking of the laughs we’ve had ove rthe years.
Remember the day I tripped we were on our way to mine, you found it really funny, and my knees were sore and I certainly swore !!!!! Which made “you” laugh even more.
“It’s all part of life these ups and downs they say, but Manda, you’re going to be missed in a very big way”.
For all the people that have known you as a friend, for me our friendship will never end.
As fondest memories start flowing back I relive all the laughs we’ve had together. For me they will last “FOREVER”.
