West Brom host newly-promoted Burnley at the Hawthorns this afternoon, with both sides in desperate need of getting more points on the board. The Baggies have five points from as many games, but have failed to score in three of their league games this season.

Burnley have scored only once in their five games so far since their promotion to the Premier League, but they are unbeaten in their last three. The Clarets are one of three teams yet to win a game this season, and manager Sean Dyche will have been targeting today’s clash as a game his side can pick up points from.

However, gritty games at the bottom can often be anti-climaxes, especially as the two sides locking horns don’t have very impressive scoring records in 2014/15.
