West Bromwich Albion are weighing up the option of signing forward Wes Hoolahan and centre-back Russell Martin, both formerly of Norwich City, according to Sky Sports.
The Baggies have been relegated from the Premier League to the Championship this summer, and were consequently forced to allow a number of players to leave. Manager Darren Moore is now faced with a daunting task of putting together a competitive team, one that would be capable of contending for promotion back to the top tier. He is therefore keen on adding quality and experience in all departments of the squad.
The 36-year-old attacker and 32-year-old defender have been released by Norwich and will be given a chance to train with the Baggies during the international break. Should Moore by satisfied with their effort they will be invited to train with the full squad upon their return, before the manager makes the call and instructs the club whether to offer either of them a contract.
