West Ham agree deal for La Liga star

French daily newspaper L’Equipe has learned that Premier League high flyers West Ham are set to complete the signing of Algerian winger Sofiane Feghouli from Valencia.

The highly rated footballer has been on the lookout for a new club as his contract at Mestalla is due to expire and he received quite a few proposals from top clubs such as Manchester United, Villarreal, Sevilla and Inter Milan, among others.

However, he has decided to accept the one from West Ham as he was impressed by manager Slaven Bilic and his project at the club.

Bar any surprises, the 26-year-old will soon sign a three-year contract with the Premier League outfit.

Even if he had had a slow start to his career at Mestalla, Feghouli went on to establish himself as one of the leading right wingers in La Liga, scoring 20 goals in 146 league outings for los Che.
