According to this morning’s Daily Mirror, West Ham midfielder Mark Noble has said that it could take the players two years to get used to new manager Gianfranco Zola’s tactics.
Two things strike me as a little strange about that. Firstly, just how unusual or complicated are these tactics? Secondly, how many managers are given two years?
Do we think Noble might be exaggerating slightly, Zola has come up with an incomprehensible system, or the players are just a bit dim?

i think it might be more likely that, because of the more flexible formation they have to run a lot more and we’re not the fittest club.
