West Ham keen on Francesco Vicari

Premier League strugglers West Ham United are keeping close tabs on SPAL defender Francesco Vicari, according to reports from Italy.

The Hammers scouts reportedly watched the 23-year-old in recent matches vs Cagliari and AC Milan, and they could step up their interest in January.

West Ham faced serious defensive issues at the start of the new campaign and they sit in Premier League relegation zone after conceding 13 goals in 6 matches.

Their latest target is also on the radar of Championship side Fulham, but the Hammers clearly have the upper hand at the moment.

Vicari hasn’t missed a single minute of the new Serie A campaign and he has fared pretty well in his first ever top-flight matches.
