West Ham linked with Remy move

Slaven Bilic is keen to make Chelsea forward Loic Remy his first signing as West Ham manager, according to the Daily Star.

The Hammers named the 46 year old as their new boss on Tuesday, and have backed him with a £25m kitty to lay out on new players.

Remy only moved to Stamford Bridge last summer after being part of France’s squad for last summer’s World Cup finals in Brazil but spent the Blues’ title winning campaign behind both Diego Costa and Didier Drogba behind in the pecking order.

The 28 year old played in just half of Chelsea’s Premier League fixtures, with only six of those appearances coming as starts though he did manage nine goals in all competitions – one of which came in the Champions League.

Swansea City and Crystal Palace have also been linked with a move for the former Queens Park Rangers man, who has been valued at around £8m.
