West Ham target Schalke’s Kuranyi

(GSM) – West Ham United have targeted Schalke 04 striker Kevin Kuranyi.

The Hammers are the latest club to join the chase for the 29-year-old German who will become a free agent this summer.

The London Evening Standard reports that West Ham co-owner David Sullivan is monitoring Kuranyi’s situation.

Sunderland, Besiktas and Juventus have also been linked with the Germany international.

Kuranyi previously played for Stuttgart, where he scored 46 goals in 99 matches. Since moving to Schalke, he has netted 71 goals in 157 appearances, including 20 in 32 matches this season.
