Wilfried Bony wants summer move; Belfodil to Inter Milan

Francis Kacou has expressed his frustration over the way Vitesse Arnhem are handling the Wilfried Bony transfer saga.

The agent of Vitesse Arnhem talisman Wilfried Bony, Francis Kacou, has expressed his frustration over the club’s failure to accept a €16 million bid from Swansea City for the Cote d’Ivoire international, Sky Sports understands.

Bony, 24, is reportedly attracting interest from a number of English clubs, including the likes of Everton, Liverpool and West Ham United, after a sensational 2012/13 campaign for Vitesse.

The Ivorian hit-man, who bagged 37 goals in 36 appearances in all competitions for Vitas last season, was believed to be on his way to the Liberty Stadium in a deal worth €12 million.

However, the Swans’ bid was not accepted by the Dutch Eredivisie side despite the club agreeing a €12 million exit fee over six months ago, according to Kacou.

“Why does it take so long? Six months ago, we made arrangements for a lump sum of 12 million, regardless of goals,” Kacou told Voetbal International.

“Swansea wanted to pay and Bony has seen that, but Vitesse wanted more. Now there is an offer of 14 million plus two million in bonuses.

“Why is Bony still in Arnhem? We do not know what they want.

“West Ham United, Everton and Liverpool have been reported as having an interest, but Swansea has made the best offer. I want clarity, and a promise is a promise.”

This week, Bony returned to Vitesse Arnhem for pre-season training, but do not expect him to be with the club at the start of the season.

Belfodil to Inter Milan

F.C. Internazionale Milano have reached a co-ownership agreement with Parma for highly-rated striker Ishak Belfodil, Sky Sports reports.

Belfodil, 21, has signed a five-year deal with the Nerazzurri.

“Ishak Belfodil is an Inter player. The Algerian striker, a naturalised Frenchman, has been signed from Parma in a co-ownership agreement,” read a statement on the club’s official website, inter.it.

“He has signed a five-year contract which ties him to Inter until 2018.”

The 21-year-old ace scored eight goals in 33 league appearances for Parma last term, establishing himself as one of the top young strikers in Europe.

“Inter is a great club. I’m very happy to be here and I hope to do well here. A big hello to all the Nerazzurri fans!” said Belfodil.

The arrival of Belfodil coincides with the departure of Antonio Cassano, who joined Parma earlier this week.

The two players were reportedly being discussed in a potential swap deal, but neither club has articulated a player-exchange deal took place.
