Wilkins expects Terry to stay put

Chelsea coach Ray Wilkins expects skipper John Terry to not leave the club in the summer.

Several newspapers have on Sunday linked the Chelsea ace with a mega move to Manchester City.

Reports say Terry is considering leaving Chelsea at the end of the season.

“There must be some very wealthy clubs out there if you think John Terry is leaving,” Wilkins told Radio Five Live.

“I would not think John will be going anywhere. He adores Chelsea, his family live in the area and he has everything he desires at Chelsea.

“I would expect him to start with us next season. That is an absolute certainty.”

Terry can not leave. He is the soul of this Chelsea team. We have seen what Chelsea’s defence is like without Terry….not good. We need Terry to stay. Everything will go all wrong if he goes to City. There is a reason why Terry is the captain of Chelsea
